Team DSSF ALC7 Fundraiser – Mardi Gras in April

On Sunday, Team Different Spokes San Francisco held our Fourth Annual team fundraising party at Michael Schmucki’s house to eat, drink, and talk about the upcoming AIDS LifeCycle.

We had a wonderful turnout and we raised a ton of money.

San Francisco AIDS Foundation volunteer Beau Thomsom spoke about the ride, the organization and the spirit of the ride.

Different Spokes members and guests to date pledged $7736.00!

We want to thank everyone who came to the party and made a contribution.

Team DSSF

AIDS/LifeCycle (6) raised over $11 million dollars this year, 2,333 riders participated. Team DSSF consisted of 15 riders, and we raised nearly $60,000. Add to that other individual DSSF members who rode or roadied, and that figure is over $111,000. Way to go Different Spokes!

AIDS/LifeCycle is a 7 day, 545 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, a fund raiser benefiting the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. AIDS/LifeCycle 7 will be June 1st thru June 7th, 2008. You can register here!

Thanks Different Spokes!!

On Saturday, Team Different Spokes San Francisco held the Second Annual team fundraising party at Michael Schmucki’s house to eat, drink, and talk about the upcoming AIDS LifeCycle.

San Francisco AIDS Foundation volunteer Rachel Frazier spoke about the ride, the organization and the pending legislation affecting the Ryan White Act and $19 million in funding the state will lose.
